Pop-leaning rock trio Against the Current debuted in the 2010s with a series of pop-punk EPs similar to early Paramore before evolving to incorporate polished synth production similar to MisterWives and Chvrches on the proper full-lengths In Our Bones (2016) and Past Lives (2018). Three years later the band returned with the punchy EP Fever.
