They found mainstream success with their 2017 sophomore effort, Deadweight, and continued to push against the boundaries of modern hardcore with the releases of Pressure (2019) and Manic (2021).
THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA
Dayton, Ohio metalcore act the Devil Wears Prada took their name from the novel and movie, but rebranded it to fit their anti-materialistic Christian ethics. Emerging among the crop of punishing metalcore acts to debut in the early 2000s, they managed to capture a secular audience with 2007 breakthrough Plagues, experiencing a commercial peak soon after with 2009’s With Roots Above and Branches Below and 2011’s best-selling Dead Throne, both of which topped the Billboard Independent Albums chart.
Siamese (initially named Siamese Fighting Fish also known as SIFIFI) is a Danish rock and metal band. They are signed to Warner Music USA, Avalon Label in Japan and Prime Collective EU.
They released their debut critically acclaimed album We Are the Sound on 31 January 2011.
